Welcome to Alessia Artesani and Francesca Di Turo


Alessia Artesani and Francesca Di Turo join the CCHT as Post Doc in Characterization and Protection of Cultural Heritage materials research area. They bring their experience on materials and scientific methods applied to Cultural Heritage. Francesca is an expert of electrochemical techniques and she has developed methods for dating archaeological bronzes. Alessia studied ancient and modern pigment degradation using optical and spectroscopic techniques, and she specialized in time-resolved photoluminescence spectroscopy on semiconductor pigments. They are going to integrate the group coordinated by Arianna Traviglia. Happy to start working in the Chemical Labs of CCHT!
