Biografia

Francesco Abate is a Ph.D. student at the Center of Cultural Heritage (CCHT@CaFoscari) of Italian Institute of Technology (IIT) and Dipartimento di Scienze Molecolari e Nanosistemi (DMSN) at Università Ca' Foscari Venezia (Italy). He received an M.Sc. degree in Materials Engineering at Università degli Studi di Napoli Federico II with a thesis on the use of thin-film technologies and green chemistry for the development of a protective coating for bronze object. His research focus on the application of Materials Science to the diagnostic and protection of the metallic heritage artefacts.
