Amal Meddahi

Amal Meddahi received her PhD in Robotics, Cognition and interaction technologies from University of Genova in 2013 in collaboration with the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT). Currently, she is a Postdoctoral researcher in Industrial Robotics Facility (InBot) at IIT, she is working on RAISE, an EU-funded project.
She worked as consultant in robotics for Teksbotics Company in Hong Kong, where she worked on autonomous driving solution of mobile robots for  airports for patrol and delivery tasks; Mainly, She worked on SLAM, navigation and the development of a ROS web based control user interface. Before that, she worked for General Industry & Energy (GiE) company in Algeria, focusing on industrial robotics and data processing. From 2013 to 2015 she worked as a PostDoc at University of Cassino and Southern Lazio, where she was part of the management team of EuRoc an EU project, also she worked on dynamics and kinematics control of robotic manipulators.
